This is named South American Indian Woman, painting in oils by Gloria Poole, painted at Denver CO 80203 summer 2007; but I [artist=Gloria Poole] moved to Missouri in Oct 2009.
Next is named "Ghana Man' from a photo I saw in missions magazine but changed quite a bit as I do not usually try to paint real people, but sort of composites of images that I see over time in different places. Oils painted at Denver CO 80203 by Gloria Poole; but I have since moved to Missouri.
This painting I named "My interpretation of King of Africa." My youngest daughter went with the Peace Corps to West Africa and in the course of building a well there, she met one of the Kings. I did not see a photo of him but this is what I thought he would look like upon getting the news that welll was producing water! This is ACRYLIC painting and is owned by my youngest daughter who is Leigh Bills as a gift to her for coming back home!
