I began this series of paintings in 2007 when I lived in Aurora Colorado for a year and then moved to Denver Colorado 80203, and moved to Missouri on Nov 3, 2009. This painting you see here I named "Angel with Guitar" and I painted it when I lived on St Simons Island Georgia, and it is there still somewhere, possibly in the Museum there since I left it on the Island for that purpose. Of course remember that Angels according to the Bible are not humans but created creatures who do the bidding of GOD ALMIGHTY and there are many instances of them appearing to humans in the Bible; and of being in heaven in Revelations. This painting of an Angel is not as the Bible describes Angels since the Bible describes Angels as in the appearance of men, and with names of Gabriel and Michael the Arch-Angel. Read up on Angels if you are curious as the Bible says they are real and will be in heaven singing praises to GOD ALMIGHTY after the final judgement Day. That is descibed in book of Revelations. This was my idea of an Angel planning to sing to GOD with a guitar to play.
This painting I named 'with native nakedness covered' because I saw a similar photo in a missionary magazine but the woman was not dressed so I added clothes to her because I want my paintings to be decent always, and because I thought what a fascinating hairdo on that photo.
