I paint as on-going since about the age of 22. These photos  on this website are my photos of my original paintings that I painted and named; and they are in my 'ethnic paintings' series of about 16-20 paintings so far.

I moved to Missouri on Nov 3, 2009. The first painting is newest and I named it "The French Man'. It is oils and is 16 x 20 in size. The mission of the ethnic paintings is to show that all humans are made in the image of GOD and that human life is sacred and even when customs, languages, traditions, clothing differ from nation to nation, the human being is the image of GOD according to Genesis 1:26-27 in the King James Holy Bible. I have tried to show in paints the beauty of each nationality and I have also tried to show in paints that GOD loves all people. My life's work is a mission to glorify GOD. There are no images of GOD on this website or any other website of mine, as I abide by the Commandments of GOD as taught in Exodus 20. This next photo of mine is of my painting in oils that I painted and named Mandarin Orange Lady:

I painted this  painting in early 2007 when I lived in Aurora Colorado, and it  is also of oils and is 16 x 20,  and  but I have since moved to Missouri.I painted it and named it The Sultan. When I first started this series and the idea came to me that I might be able to help the world's people see each other in a different light I had not seen any real photos of Arabic sheiks or Kings. This painting below is what I thought they looked like.  I also painted several other sketches and planned at that time that i would also paint those in oils. I realized after seeing the real King of Saudi Arabia on the BBC news and a real Sheik in the BBC news and a real Saudi Prince in the news that this painting did not achieve what they look like! I pray no one is offended by any of my paintings, sketches or drawings that resemble them or their position or their 'lot in life'.  My sketches' website also has my sketch of the Queen of England and Prince Charles and Prime Ministers and leaders of many nations as I saw them in the news and with my ability to paint or sketch them. I plan to paint many of those sketches into oils but until then, you may enjoy seeing them also and reading my comments to myself to remember to add this or that a certain way. Also many of my sketches have my entire signature on them of Gloria Poole. I do not think I have the skills to paint those important people in a portrait but I like to paint composites of certain features or characteristics I see in different people and sometimes I try to paint a person because of the persons' facial features or costume-clothing. This painting in oil that is named The Sultan is a composite intended to show the royal authority but also the military uniform of a leader of a nation.

I do research quite a bit sometimes when I am trying to plan a painting in my head and I often draw and paint many sketches of a particular idea or person. Lately, I realized that this painting of The Sultan is not as royalty in the Arab nations look now, and that happened after I researched a bit the nation of the United Arab Emirates, as a result of their ad for their  luxury flights to Abu Dhabai, where apparently business people go often. I had the flight of fancy so to speak to think that IF I went there, I would have a better idea what real Arabs look like and how they dress but of course not likely that I would meet royalty anywhere. But after looking at the photos of Abu Dhabai I realized that they are as modern in every way as any place in America and that this painting is not representative of them; but I like it still and hope that you also like it, and that of course the Arab people also like it as it is intended to make friends with them.

I moved from Colorado in early November 2009. If you should see any outdated info from Colorado it would be because of criminals hacking into my account. I have no family or business partners in Colorado.I NEVER had business partners in Colorado nor family there. I was married a second time there but divorced since Oct 2007.
